Me at my graduation! - Sara E Musacchia

Hello everyone! My name is Sara and I am a recent college graduate with a two Bachelor's: one in Psychology and one in Anthropology. I also have a minor in Education Studies. I have been an avid writer since the bright, young age of six. While everyone was out on the playground, I was writing short stories and plays. In my teen years, I began writing poetry and stories for my school newspaper and for a local non-profit organization. My interest in writing waned as I entered college four years ago. However, during my time at college, a number of professors renewed my love for writing. They challenged me to be creative and aided me to develop adequate research skills. I am so glad that they did, because writing is a gift that not many people have. To think that I almost lost my love for writing scares me a bit, but I'm back and I'm ready to change the world with my pen (er, computer...Haha).

I enjoy writing about psychology, including but not limited to Major Depression, Dysthymia, Bipolar Disorder, Conduct Disorder, attachment theory, and memory and cognition. I also enjoy writing about women's issues, gender, religion, and a number of other topics. What I hope to accomplish on Suite 101 is to practice my writing skills, hear feedback from others, and get my voice heard.

Please, enjoy my articles and give me feedback! Any kind of constructive criticism is appreciated.
